As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, the former lawmaker and current Chairman Board of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, Hon. Olusegun Odebunmi, has felicitated with Nigerians, charging them to remain steadfast, hopeful and united as the nation navigates its current challenges.
Hon. Odebunmi, popularly known as Bunvic, acknowledged the difficulties the country is facing, especially in the areas of economy, security, and infrastructure. He noted, however, that the ongoing reforms and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration are already laying the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
According to him, “Great nations are built through sacrifices and collective perseverance. What we are experiencing now is a passing phase that will soon give way to a new dawn of opportunities and development. The reforms being carried out are tough but necessary, and their positive impacts are beginning to show.”
While extending his warm greetings to all Nigerians, Hon. Odebunmi gave special recognition to the good people of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, whom he described as “partners in progress and a true reflection of Nigerian spirit, courage and hope.”
As we celebrate our independence, I also warmly welcome us all into the new month of October.
He prayed for continued peace, growth, and prosperity for Nigeria, encouraging citizens to celebrate the nation’s journey with pride while embracing the promise of a better tomorrow.
