Hon. Segun Odebunmi, popularly called Bunvic, is a member of the House of Representatives, representing Surulere/ Ogo Oluwa constituency in Oyo State.
He was born a few decades ago to the family of Pa. & Late Madam Odebunmi of Olokose’s Compound, Isale Ejigbo in Oko, Surulere Local Government, Oyo State Federal constituency.

My mission in politics is to serve as a conduit pipe through which communities in my constituency are transformed, my constituents deserved good governance and dividends of democracy and so far we have been able to facilitate developmental projects such as assess road, rural electrification, capacity Building trainings, Employment opportunities, Job creations, loans and many more.
Youths are the integral part of the society, As a lawmaker i am concerned with the urban to rural migration by the youths and one of the way through which i belief this can be curb is to engage and empower them in their domain to the extent that their peers in the city will become envious of their achievements and this we have done for the 7 years as a legislator, more than a thousands of youths have been empowered through training and provision of start up funds loan and other materials to enhance their productivity.

The House of Representatives on Monday, passed N13.5trillion as the country's budget for 2021. The figure is up by N505bn from the original estimates of N13.08tn President Muhammadu Buhari laid before a joint session of the National Assembly on October 8. The session presided over by the Speaker, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, approved $40 as the crude oil benchmark for the budget. The House approved N4.1tn for capital expenditure, N5.6tn for recurrent expenditure and N3.3tn for debt servicing. The sum of N496bn was also approved for statutory transfers by lawmakers on Monday. The House achieved the objective of keeping to the January-December budget cycle by passing the budget after spending slightly over two months at the legislature. #HousePlenary
A member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives, Rep. Samuel Onuigbo, has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rep. Onuigbo, who hails from Abia State, announced his defection to the APC in a letter read at Thursday's plenary by Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
PETITIONS
1. Rep. Adelegbe Timehin laid a petition on behalf of a complainant whose appointment was wrongfully terminated from the Nigerian Army. He sought the intervention of the House on the issue.
2. Rep. Henry Nwawuba laid three petitions on behalf of different complainants seeking the intervention of the House to resolve the different issues.
Both petitions were referred to the House Committee on Public Petitions.
LEAD DEBATE
The House of Representatives is to investigate the digital switch over process in the country.
This is sequel to the adoption of the resolutions of a motion sponsored by Olusegun Odebunmi from Oyo state at plenary.
We have embarked on different kinds of constituency projects ranging from facilitation of rural electrification to six communities with new transformers, facilitation of ICT facilities for secondary schools, motorized boreholes, construction and repair of access roads in my constituency.

Hon Odebunmi has facilitated rural electrification for six communities in his constituency .Some of the communities that benefited from the rural electrification projects through Federal government agencies have been in existence for over 300 years without electricity while some have poor electricity supply due to lack of transformer.
